Budapest, night, delight

Budapest during the day is an experience not to be missed, but Budapest during the night is a memory worth making.
One of my all time favorite buildings – The Hungarian Parliament. I still remember the first time I got a glimpse of it, after a long walk through the city.
And this is the last…so far.

Stick around, there is more:

I was very kindly nominated to be part of the Capture the Colour competition right from the very start of the project. True to my style, I just had to … Continue reading →

So glad to get a glimpse of you all, have been wondering how you are…and where!
Oh no, what do I have to see on that map? After coming all the way to Prague – just one (!) hour from us on the Autobahn! – you are heading back east…?!?
Yes.
We are heading to Lithuania, Litva, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Tromso, baby! Luck be on our side.
Was it really one hour? With Couch? :(
I see – you are shunning my beautiful, clean, punctual and orderly homecountry… :-(
Yes, it is that close. After they opened the new Autobahn between Prague and Dresden, the ad in Dresden went like “Have a quick breakfast in Prague!”. At that time, our car looked even worse than Couch…
No, no, if everything goes even close to planned, we will be going through Germany on the way down to Spain. I doubt we will reach as far East as Dresden unfortunately, but we will see your beautiful, clean, punctual and orderly homecountry. So we can use the Autobahn with Couch for sure? I have been wondering…
If you want to cross Germany in a sensible time, you will have to use the Autobahn, I think – and after all, it is for free, unlike in France. Everyone uses it, even rundown ruins like Couch… you just have to go faster than 60 km/h. That should be possible for you, right? ;-)
Gorgeous shots! The Parliament building truly does shine at night!
Budapest is a magical city made more so by buildings such as these, some wonderful architecture there, well worth the visit!
