They seem totally oblivious.
Funny! My husband can’t stand it when I’m constantly reading signs. Says it takes the fun out of stuff. I think it adds to the fun, since I noticed this straight off and made me smile!
Clear Ladies Only sign above, yet 3 men sitting there totally unaware. Or disregarding it. Either or :)
Do you ask people if you may take pics of them? I mean, in this particular picture and also in general? That´s what I´m usually shy to do…

Martina, I am a horrible people photographer. Horrible. I have missed so many shots just because I cannot bring myself to get that camera to my eye and take them. I really dislike when people take pictures of me and my family and hence am finding it hard to do it to other people unless I can do it without them knowing it or with their permission. I also have great trouble taking pictures of people in poverty.
In this particular case, I was half laughing and that gave me the strength to do it.
They’re only allowed to sit there if there’s no women wanting seats… and to be fair, they jump up right away when women get on.. and then they all squish at the back of the bus… the segregation of sexes is how it’s done here…
I figured that is the case, as the gender segregation is painfully obvious just about everywhere. Still, I could not avoid the irony of the picture in front of me ;)
