Stepping on the Arabian Peninsula

Stepping on the Arabian Peninsula

Do you know the pleasure of smelling the sea again? Of seeing coast littered with seagulls instead of garbage? Stepping in Oman has reminded us of simple delights that we have missed while in India. Like walking, for example…

We are still sipping tea, but its quiet, clean and mellow around us. Instead of gray and battered, men are adorned in perfect white robes, which for the first time makes the fully covered women look not out of place.

I dont know yet, if Oman is a great destination, but so far it is exactly what we needed at this point of our journey.

Put on top of it all, the free flowing Arabic coffee and the sights of Muttrah, in Muscat, at night and we are more than happy for now.

I cannot wait to explore further.
