Hi Geri,
I’ve been keeping up with you and loving your journey. 161 days hey, has it gone as fast for you or well and truly a way of life now?
Great blog by the way! Say hi to the kids and the man, we miss them! They look like they’re growing up beautifully, but way too quick.

Hi Deanne,
You are the only one that could have commented on this page ;) Where did you dig it up from?
It has become reality and it is actually hard to think of what will be like once we are done. I miss you all and hope you keep it up until we come back.
Kiss the two princesses from me.

Well in that case, I could arrange a “tuppaware” party to welcome you home…

Hey there. I just came across your blog while searching the internet. I love it. Its inspired me a great deal. See, traveling is something I enjoy, and want to do a LOT more of. My boyfriend and I are pregnant now, and though we are over the moon, I began to feel a little down about the concept of not being able to travel as often with an infant/child. Reading your blog BLEW that bad attitude right out of my mind. Thankyou so much.

craftjunkie, you will be surprised how often people make a similar comment and I am so happy that we can prove the myth of the stuck at home parent out of the water. It definitely does not have to be that way. Have a wonderful pregnancy and enjoyable journeys with your family.

I completely agree. I clicked on a post about blimmin tie-dyed eggs and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I stumbled across your blog. I have been nosing through it for the past hour and a half and would like to thank you for the inspiration.
My boyfriend and I are currently saving every last penny to start our voyage in the summer. We are hoping to travel East and venture to Thailand, China and Australia for a year.
I keep having moments where I panic and think Aimee, do you really think your capable of just packing a backpack and trotting off round the globe but reading your blog has made me even more excited for our adventure.
Snapping Blabber you are my idol.
I really like your site ! We would love to recommend you on your site which will be up and running in a month or two. I will send you the link if you are interested ?
WOW! This is so inspiring…so it really is possible. My family and I have created a Family Challenge in Tasmania that begins on Tuesday, it is small in comparison to your adventures but you have lit a fire in my heart and challenged me to think big. Thankyou.
As a travel journalist, I’m always searching for fun travel tales and just discovered your blog. And as a relatively new blogger myself, I had to start following you.
Child of communism in a land where bananas were a luxury winter item, I ended up scarred for life and with authority issues. After living on three continents, having three children, right now in the third year of traveling around the World with my family. Join me.
