Back home again
After a few days who knows where, this morning we were unsure where we will end up when we left the bungalow. Some sign language, frustration and dubious help later we were on a bus. An hour later I was covered in vomit. Thankfully that was a fluke and the rest of the day went smoothly.
Seeing the pink buses, colorful taxis and familiar sights brought huge smiles on our faces. In the taxi I heard Miss Fab say “I like Bangkok traffic”…
Sitting in our familiar apartment, the kids relaxed after finishing their trance dancing and chanting “We love luxury”, we are awaiting delivery of our favorite cheap food to finish a long day. The feeling can only be described as coming back home.
Thank you for keeping me in front of the Babble poll! Seeing that cemented the silly grin I have had since arriving in Bangkok. I hope to update you soon. Now I have to go eat my pork omelet and soup…
Hithere. I am from Brazil and I have been reading your post for a while now. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Having a long trip, just enjoying different places, foods, people, is something I have always wanted to do and never knew where to start. With your tips, now, I can plan something for the future… this is inspiring to me. I do want to go to Bulgaria, Greece and… Well, thank you again and congratulations for your beautiful family! All the best… Sandra
Sandra, welcome.
You want to go to Bulgaria and I would love to come to Brazil ;) . We should work out some kind of exchange deal. Thanks for taking the time to drop me a note.
